Hi! Today I’m so excited to share my very first hand carved
stamp. It’s so cute, and I love that it’s large enough to create some awesome
stationary. However, it’s also a great size for decorating paper bags, wrapping
paper, and tags. This would be so cute for a handmade Rainy Day themed baby
shower, or even just a simple ‘Thank you’ or ‘just because’ card. I always love
to doodle when I’m watching T.V. (mostly during commercials). Therefore, I have
lots of other stamps on the way. Most of the designs I’m going to be creating
will be great for single layer cards, and handmade decor. When I created this
stamp I wanted to leave the rain drops hallow so that you can color them in, in any
color. If you take a look at the stationary I've created you’ll notice I used a
pastel rainbow color effect. I think it looks so cute in these light colors. In
case any of you are not into image transfer, I also have the ‘Happy Rain Cloud’
stationary set available in my shop as well. To purchase the stamp or the
stationary you can find them in my shop by clicking here. Have a great weekend!

Creating Patterns using Homemade Stamps
Wednesday, January 30, 2013
I pulled out some of my Kraft wrapping paper that I
purchased from my local dollar store to test the stamp on, and it came turned
out wonderful.
Ever since I bought my first piece of carving rubber I’ve
been thinking about different types of designs I can make. I’d definitely like
to start selling these stamps in my shop in the near future—once I feel like I’ve
perfected the carving technique and I have a good amount of designs that I
like, I’ll start offering them in my shop. Yay! Let me know what you think about this particular pattern :-)
Card of the Week--Sweet and Simple
Wednesday, November 21, 2012
Lately I've been having fun making single layer cards—with only
stamped images, and for this card I wanted to use a new stamp that I just
purchased yesterday. I really can’t help buying stamps, they’re my favorite
thing to collect, hehe, and all the stamp sets at Joanns were on sale for 50%
off! So, even though I wasn't there to buy stamps I just couldn't pass up a
great sale. I think I ended up getting two new stamps sets for only $6.00. I
was super happy about that. I’m so in love with how this simple card came out—I’m
even thinking about selling a set of these as stationary! I know I'd love to get one of these in the mail from a friend.
Just look at all the cute stamps and coordinating sentiments! I was so excited to get these.
I also found this really cute 'Retro Technology' set, and I can't wait to use it for Valentine's Day merchandise. You know, I can imagine this set working well for other things like an anniversary or graduation too.
I think I was sold when I saw this cute stamp, "We're a good mix", LOL. Too cute. I hope you enjoyed this card. I'm so busy right now with orders, Thanksgiving preparations etc. & I can't wait to share our Thanksgiving dinner photos with you! I just hope I'm not too stuffed to edit pictures that night, hehe. Take care & happy crafting!

Card of the Week & Lawnscaping Challenge Entry
Wednesday, August 22, 2012
Today’s card of the week is inspired by the Lawnscaping Challenge#40.
This is my first time entering a project on this blog, and I
hope I do well! They’re challenge is to
create paper using Lawn Fawn stamps—doesn’t that sound awesome? I wanted to create something cute and fun, so
I pulled out one of my favorite Lawn Fawn stamp sets: Love ‘n Breakfast and
this is what I came up with.

Card of the week #2
Thursday, August 2, 2012
Hello! I’m back again with my card of the week. I wanted to
try something cute and special so I made this mini-greeting card. Well, it’s
more of a mini-love note. I made this card using the adorable Lawn Fawn stamps, Kraft paper, and one of my favorite paper stacks! About a year or two ago I
found a How-Tuesday video on the Etsy blog, on how to make a cute mini-book,
and that’s where I learned how to make this particular flip book—only I
decorated it myself instead printing out their template. To learn how to make
the mini-book, click here to watch their super cute video.
I had a lot of fun making this mini-card. I always like
making really small cards because I think they look so cute. The Lawn Fawn
stamps work really well when making tiny cards, as you can see from the images.
…and, here is the card completely open. This card was made
using a standard size card stock: 8” x 11.5”.
Thanks for stopping by! I hope you enjoyed this mini-love
note greeting card.

Cute Ribbon Stamps for Scrapbooking and Card Making
Thursday, March 29, 2012
Hi everyone! I just wanted to share these cute clear stamps I got in the mail. I ordered them for card making and I can’t wait to use them. I’m thinking of making an entire collection of thank you cards using these different types of ribbon stamps. What do you think? Don’t like they look so real? I’ll post pictures of the final product once I’ve created a style I’m happy with. Happy crafting!
