Sweet Stamp Shop February Release!

Wednesday, February 12, 2014

It’s that time again! The Sweet Stamp Shop has come out with another amazing collection of high quality photopolymer stamps. These new sets are absolutely perfect on their own; however, they also work great with all of their other stamps set; for instance, their Too Hip stamp set has great images and lots of fun elements to design your card or layout around a specific theme. It also goes perfectly with their stamp set—Foxy.

When I created the card above, I used the sets Too Hip, Foxy, and Just the Basics. You’ll also notice that I used the mirror image stamping technique on this card, to make the two hippos look like they were all lovey-dovey, hehe. Then I used the cute elements from the Too Hip stamp set to make one looks super girly and the other look like a hipster boy. I used the heart image from the, Foxy, set, and the ‘Happy Valentine’s Day’ sentiment from the Sweet Stamp Shop set—Just the basics.

I LOVE the set that I used to create this next card. We all love sequins right now—it’s so in style for papercrafters, but image how fun it would be to play with a sequins stamp?—and in different sizes. Not only does this stamp set, Sparkle and Shine, come with sequins images it also had these really create jewel images, too.  This set is too much fun!
My next card is a perfect example of how, Too Hip, is a versatile stamp set. I stamped some party hats on top of the fox and hippo and we have a perfect little scene for a birthday card. Did I mention that the images in the Too Hip stamp set fit perfectly with the fox from the, Foxy stamp set? Well they do! Cute, right?
Lastly, I have this funny little birthday card. When I first saw the stamp set, Stuck on You, I immediately thought to myself, “Hey, this looks like the cactus is looking back at me”—even without the face stamped on it. So I came up with the cute little message, “Honey, do these thorns make my butt look big?” It may not seem to make sense but when I created this card I thought it would be one of those “I’m getting old” kind of cards. I dunno—all I know is this card was super fun to make. I’m so in love with this set now, and I hope this card gets a few laughs, hehe.
Below are some of the sets that have been released for the month of February; however, you can click here to view the full release on the Sweet Stamp Shop blog. Go and check out all the awesomeness over there and you can also view the other creations by other design team members, too. There is so much inspiration on the SSS blog that you’ll be dying to place an order.

I hope you've enjoyed my cards and the new releases. Their new stamp sets are too cute, and I can't wait to make more projects with them. Take care!

Sweet Stamp Shop Winter Release--And some Exciting News!

Thursday, December 5, 2013

Not only am I’m excited to be sharing the Sweet Stamp Shop December release—I’m also excited to share that I’m on their design team! Making treat tags, and cards with their stamps was so much fun and I’m happy to share what I made with them below. Since, today is the SSS stamp release day; they are offering a 20% coupon code, DNR20, which you can use until this Friday at midnight. For more details, on the release and the coupon code visit the Sweet Stamp Shop blog by clicking here.

I made this tag, with a chalk board theme, and I also felt the like the distress chalk stains looked like flour had been spilled all over the tag too. I used the stamp set, Baking Love, to create this tag. This set has some of the cutest little images and sentiments.
Next, I used the stamp set, Cookie Sprinkles to make this adorable card. I love how the sentiment in this set can be used with this cookie image, but you can also use it on a cupcake box or a tag as well.
For this next card, I used another adorable set, Press itWash it, by the Sweet Stamp shop, and this set is so versatile and can be used for ‘just because cards’, or Valentine’s day. I’m definitely going to be having lots of fun with this set.
I used a beautiful floral set named, Elegant Flowers, to create this card. The flowers in these set are great because you can use them to fit any theme you need it for; for instance, Mother’s Day, a birthday card, Just because card, etc. You can even create some beautiful wedding theme decorations with this set.
Lastly, I made this card using the same stamp set I used to create the ‘baked with love’ tag (Baking love). Like I mentioned earlier—the images in this set are SO adorable! I created a ‘bun in the oven’ greeting card with this set and I think it came out so lovely.

I hope you enjoyed my creations!

Winter Wonderland Collection

Monday, October 14, 2013

Today I wanted to share a little part of my 2013 Christmas card collection. This year I’m going to have two different themed collections in my shop, and each collection will have cards, matching tags, and matching cupcake toppers (maybe even some banners, if I can find the time to make them, hehe). I was so excited to use all of my new Christmas themed stamps to make these cards, Lawn Fawn and many other stamp companies created such amazing images! The first collection is almost finished and I've already uploaded a few of them to my shop today. This collection is named, The Winter Wonderland Collection; namely because I’m using white card stock for each design and I’m also going with a clean and simple snow-time-fun feel. In this collection I have a few single handmade cards, and one set of 8 cards. Last year I sold the ‘Hipster Snowman’ cards as a set and I’m doing that again this year—but in white. I’m still leaving the original ivory hipster snowman cards in my shop just in case anyone wanted to buy those again this year.

The tags, and cupcake toppers will be uploaded shorty, as well as my second collection which is my ‘Vintage Christmas’ collection. I love making vintage themed paper items and again like last year I’m going to offer a variety of vintage themed cards, tags, and cupcake toppers. I can’t wait to share everything with you, and I’m working so hard to finish the collections—but it’s kind of hard when I’m also working on orders at the same time. I hope you enjoyed this little sneak peek of my 2013 card collection and if you decided to shop with me this year for Christmas and you’re a blog reader feel free to contact me so I can give you a coupon code!
