Hello, and welcome! Today the Lawn Fawn designers have teamed up with Chameleon and we are using their awesome, Chameleon Color Tone Permanent Alcohol Markers--these pens work so great and makes blending so simple! What I like about these pens is I'm only using one pen to achieve this blended look; rather than using more than one marker to get the sample type of look. The set that I received from Chameleon is the 5 Pen Pastel Tones Set, which comes with the colors: fawn, warm sunset, bisque, cool gray, and bubble gum. Such great colors that work well with so many critter images and even some floral images as well.
Today I used this set, click here to view the ink pen set, with the Lawn Fawn stamp set, Monster Mash. I just love how I was able to get this ombre look using these pens. I also used the coordinating dies, the Puffy cloud borders, Scalloped Rectangle Stackables, and the Large Stitched Rectangle Stackables dies.
To view more DT samples using this ink system feel free to head over to the Lawn Fawn Blog by clicking here. I hope you have a great day and happy crafting!

Stamp Highlight, Mama Elephant, Tandem Extras
Saturday, July 18, 2015
Welcome back to another day of the Mama Elephant Stamp highlights! This set coordinates perfectly with the stamp set, Tandem Ride. With this set, Tandem Extras, you can create such adorable cards and I just love the handwritten calligraphy sentiments and the adorable little banners, flowers, and additional critters. What is so great about this set is that you can also coordinate it with other ME stamp sets, too!
With this card I wanted the critter to look like he was flying around on her little balloon--so cute! I also wanted it to look whimsical so I choose to create the watercolor background in three bright colors and added some Pretty Pink Posh sequins to get it a little extra something. There are so many amazing DT samples over at the Mama Elephant blog, click here, to view them and get lots of inspiration!
Thank you so much for stopping by!

Stamp Highlight, Mama Elephant--Tandem Ride
Friday, July 17, 2015
Welcome to another Mama Elephant Designer Series! Today the design team an I are using the new (and adorable) stamp set, Tandem Ride, to create our samples. I just love how this set comes with lots and lots of adorable critter images and elements to create such adorable scenes on your projects. They've also released a set filled with lots of coordinating extras and beautiful calligraphy sentiments--much like the one shown in the image above, click the following link to view that set, Tandem Extras.
I also choose to use the Femme Frames die once again, but I just can't help using it--when I'm making ME cards it's one of the first things that I reach for. I just love it! I also decided to do some more watercoloring for the panel in the background. I only used two distress ink colors and I think the results came out just great. I think this set is just the cutest! If you'd like to take a look at the other DT samples feel free to click, here, and view them!

So Many Thanks
Wednesday, July 1, 2015
Hello everyone! Today I'm super excited to share the card I created using the new stamp set, Charmed. This stamp set is packed with so many whimsical images and coordinating sentiments--this is one of those stamp sets that makes card making so easy because of how great each of the images work together and the sentiment variety means you can use this stamp set to create so many different types of cards and projects.
I always love using the watercolor technique when using Mama Elephant stamps--that technique always go so nicely with any of their images. I used light yellow cardstock for the card base an the scalloped panel, and used a variety of pastel Copic colors. This little sleeping fox is so adorable!
I always love thinking of different ways to use my stamps, and I thought that the wreath in this set would be perfect for creating Thanksgiving, and Christmas cards, too. All you'd have to do is color the wreath in according to the holiday you'd use it for and maybe even add a Santa hat to the fox or owl. How cute would that be?!
I hope you enjoyed this card and thank you so much for stopping by!

Stamp Highlight, Chance Of Rain--Mama Elephant
Monday, June 22, 2015
Hello! Today we're super excited to be sharing samples for this AMAZING new stamp set, Chance of Rain. Mama Elephant did such a great job with this release and the images and sentiments in this set are just perfect for creating all sorts of cards and projects. Of course I went with the watercolor technique for this card because I wanted to set a rainy little scene and for the little girl, and her teddy I gave them both a traditional yellow rain coat and I think that the yellow goes so well with the gray and blue tones on this card.
The great thing about this set is that ME also sells the coordinating dies so it makes card making that much more easier for us all--and not that we need easier but the faster we can finish a card the quicker we can get to making another one, and another one--am I right?
For a better look at this set and to view all of the other DT samples feel free to, click here, to view them all! I hope you enjoyed my card and thank you so much for stopping by. I hope you have a great day!

Stamp Highlight--Sunday Stroll, Mama Elephant
Wednesday, June 17, 2015
The June release by Mama Elephant is so adorable! I love every single set that they came out with. Today we are featuring, Sunday Stroll--it's a super cute set with so many little images and elements to create some really fun cards, tags, and all kinds of projects. For this card I wanted to create something really clean and simple (CAS), so I went with creating a really light colored watercolor background, and stamped out the large boy and girl image from this set--as well as two of the trees. I arranged the kids to look like they are holding hands (so cute), and used the banner and sentiment from the set, Charmed. What's great, too, is that these stamp sets also have coordinating dies to make card making that much more simpler for you.
I hope that you enjoyed this card, and if you would like to take a look at all the other DT samples feel free to head over to the ME blog by clicking here to view them. I hope you have a great day!

Playful Pups
Wednesday, June 3, 2015
Hi there! It's Nicole Gavaldon here, and today I'm excited with talk about how I created this CAS card using the new and adorable stamp set, Playful Pups. The puppy images in this set are so cute, and the fact that this set comes with a variety of different sentiments means you can create so many products for lots of different occasions. I used the, "Missing you is real ruff" sentiment for my project which would work as a 'Just Because' card, too.
If you take a closer look at the card I created you'll notice that I used the Mirror Image stamping technique to get the mirror image of this cute pup that's holding a tiny envelope in his/her mouth. I have so much fun using that technique for card making! I also took a piece of Tim Holtz watercolor cardstock and did some really clean and simple watercoloring using distress ink, and once it was dry I used the ME Femme Frames die, with the scalloped edge, to cut out the panel for the front of the card, and simply adhered that onto a piece of 100lb. white cardstock--with some 3D adhesive foam tape. The two pups are also backed with 3D adhesive foam and I used some white and silver twine to ground the two puppies so that they don't look like they are floating, hehe.
The possibilities are endless for this stamp set--you could create birthday cards, birthday cupcake toppers, treat bag tags, and even projects for Valentine's Day with the, "I've got a spot in my heart for you", sentiment! I hope you enjoyed my very first designer series blog post for ME and thank you so much for stopping by.

Lawn Fawn Inpsiration Week--Fintastic Friends + New Ink
Wednesday, June 3, 2015
This is the final day of Lawn Fawn Inspiration week--I know how sad! BUT don't worry there is still lots more in this Summer release so stay tuned for the next inspiration week. Today we are sharing the new stamp set, Fintastic Friends--cute images, and punny sentiments (as per usual, right?!) Lawn Fawn never fails to wow us with their adorable stamp set ideas and I'm thinking that this set, like lots of their others, can be used for many different occasions. I can also see how this set would be great for masculine cards; such as, a young boys birthday!
I just love how this set comes with both a fish tank and a fish bowl. There is so much variety and I love it. You'll also notice that I used lots of color on the background card base. I'm using the new Lawn Fawn inks! There are five new colors in this series and they are stunningly beautiful. I've fallen so in love with these new colors! You'll definitely be seeing more use of color with these inks in the near future--especially in the upcoming inspiration weeks!
I hope you enjoyed this week of sneaks--and you can go ahead and head over to the Lawn Fawn blog, leave a comment to win this set and the inks, watch two intro videos by, Kelly Marie, and get inspired by all of the other DT samples that we created for you!
Thank you so much for stopping by! <3
Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week--Happy Wedding
Monday, June 1, 2015
Oh my gosh! Isn't this new stamp set, Happy Wedding, so cute?! It's full of such fun imagery and perfectly matching hand lettered sentiments. I was so excited when Kelly Marie mentioned to me that she got the idea for this set because of what I do (with my Etsy shop). I love to create party decorations and wedding decor pieces are my top sellers. I just can't wait to figure out ways to add cute items to my shop using this set. Sort of how I did (here) with my wedding favor box, using the new, Milk Carton die. BUT, what I just love about this set is that if you're not into creating decorations like I am you can still use this set in so many other ways. You could create a congratulations card for a newlywed couple; or, even use this set to create some Valentine's Day theme cards, and projects next year. Lawn Fawn puts so much thought into each set they create and the fact that we can use them in so many different ways shows that!
If you take a close look at this card, you'll notice I also used a few new products that have yet to be shown--and they will soon--but for now can you take a guess at what they are?
To view more design them samples feel free to, click here--not only can you view DT samples for lots of inspiration but you can also watch Kelly's intro video for this set and get a close up look at it and watch her create a project with it, too! Don't forget you can also leave a comment on their blog for a chance to win this set AND if you haven't left a comment on any of the other posts' you can still do it. By leaving a comment on the first (opening day) LF Inspiration week post you can win all the sets! Ahh!

Playful Pups--Mama Elephant New Release
Monday, May 18, 2015
Today Mama Elephant is showcasing their adorable new stamp set, Playful Pups, this set contains several super cute puppy images and clever matching sentiments! I just love the two puppy images I used for the card shown above--especially the pup with the little envelope in it's mouth; and, this stamp set works for year round projects (which is always a huge plus for us stampers), too, yay!
I've been really obsessed with using distress inks with the applicators to achieve subtle ombre looks, lately (so fun). I also used the dies from the ME creative cuts collection, Basic set. I also used some Pretty Pink Posh sequins for the shaker part of the card. PPP sequins always add so much to any card!
Don't forget you can leave a comment on Saturdays post to win a stamp set! Click here for your chance to win.
Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week--Wheelie Like You
Monday, April 13, 2015
Today I created something a little different compared to all of my pastely and bright cards. I actually found the inspiration for this particular card on Pinterest one day when I was browsing. I thought this would look really sweet on a card using the little critter image from the mini stamp set, Wheelie like you. I love that this card is dark but it's still cute and romantic with the shadow of the moon. If you take a close look at this card you'll notice it's a one layer card. I did a lot of masking and used a variety of distress inks to achieve this look, as well. I think the hardest part of creating this card was having to hand draw the shadows of the guinea pig using a dark gray Copic marker. I also wish that my camera would have picked up on how awesome the moon really looked in person. I did some soft watercoloring to make the moon look life like and neon.
I also had fun using some of the darker pattern papers form the awesome 6x6 Beach Side petite paper pack. That pack of papers has so many great patterns and I love all of the darker hues in that collection.
Lawn Fawn always does such an amazing job of packaging such cute images and sentiments into their mini stamp sets, and this one is no exception. There is so much you can do with this set and if you need a little more inspiration using this set you can ahead over to the Lawn Fawn blog by, clicking here. On their blog you can view all of the DT samples and even leave a comment for a chance to win this set, too!

Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week--Critters In The Jungle
Monday, April 13, 2015
Aside from using the, Critters in the Jungle stamp set and it's coordinating dies, I also used the mini set, Love you Tons, for the "Love you Tons" sentiment. For the shaker window and panel I used the stitched rectangle stackables as well as the Stitched Squares Stackables dies. When I was creating this card I was thinking of using a plain white card base (to go behind the shaker panel) but this card was fun and colorful so I thought it would be nice to have a bit of color in the background so I pulled out my trusty Lawn Fawn 6x6 paper pad--the Let's Polka Mon Amie collection and used this green striped paper, mint line dance. For a bit of added charm I also used some of the new lawn trimmings in Tangerine. For the shaker I used the new Lime Sorbet sequins by Pretty Pink Posh as well as the Marshmallow sequins, and Sparkling clear sequins.
I hope you've enjoyed this card and thank you so much for stopping by!
Lawn Fawn Inpsiration Week--Stuck On You
Monday, March 23, 2015
Welcome back to my blog for another day of Inspiration! Today I'm sharing this card I created using, Stuck on You, by Lawn Fawn--for their inspiration week. I live in California and I'm a huge fan of music so I thought I'd use this stamp set to create a fun desert scene and I was going for like a Coachella sky for this card, hehe. I colored the entire ground and sky using distress inks, and I did some simply stamping and die cutting for the rest of the card. I really love the simplicity and shadows to give the card some added interest. This card would be great for giving all year round. I just love how you can do that with any of Lawn Fawns stamp sets just by combining them with other stamped images or creating your own sentiments.

Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week--Year Five, Happy Birthday Border Die
Thursday, March 19, 2015
Welcome to another Lawn Fawn inspiration week! Today we are sharing inspiration for the new mini stamp set, Year Five, along with the, Happy Birthday border die! For this card I combined both the stamps, it's coordinating dies, and the stand alone die to create one fun and colorful card. I used a variety of colored cardstock and heat embossed some white clouds in the background for some added interested.
I wanted the otter to look like he was sailing down the river with his adorable party hat and gift. So I also used the grassy border die and the stamps and dies from the set, Gleeful Gardens, to help set the scene.
For more inspiration feel free to head over to the Lawn Fawn blog by clicking here. There you can view all of the Design Team samples and even get a chance to when a prize! Thank you so much for stopping by!

Throwback Thursday--Crafty Edition
Thursday, February 26, 2015
I'm doing a crafty throw back and using this old school (well it's not really THAT old) Lawn Fawn stamp set, Grand Greetings. I created this A2 size card with a piece of watercolor cardstock and I used some dark blues, pinks, and purples for this abstract background. I also placed a piece of vellum over that watercolor piece and heat embossed the sentiment in white embossing powder. To fill the inside of this shaker card I used some Pretty Pink Posh sequins. Shaker cards are the best!
You're the Coolest
Tuesday, February 24, 2015
Hi everyone! Today I wanted to share this card that I made yesterday using a two of the new Lawn Fawn Stamp sets, Flirty Frames and Best Pun Ever. Both of which are currently for sale now! I love that the Flirty Frames have such cute and whimsical designs and that they can be used all year round--the same goes for Best Pun Ever. That set comes with some adorable images and cute sentiments to match.
When creating the background for this card I used some Canson watercolor paper, and cut it down to a A2 size. Then I adhered it to my clip board using some low tack tape and used a few distress inks to achieve the abstract background. I also did some watercoloring with the frame and popsicle images and then to add some shine I covered them in some Glossy Accents. To finish off the card I used some of the new, Sweet heart lawn trimmings, and some Pretty Pink Posh, Sparkling Clear sequins.
I hope you enjoyed this card and thank you so much for stopping by!

Lawn Fawn February Inspiration Week--Party Balloons
Saturday, February 14, 2015
I used the new (and awesome) Party Balloon dies along with some other great new stamps sets like, Baked with Love, script sayings, and my lucky charm to create this simple card. Not only did I used new stamps sets but I also used the new, Beach Side 6x6 paper pad. I wanted to create a masculine card so I used some of the dark tones in the paper pad. If you notice, the sentiment is stamped in navy blue--I used the new Lawn Fawn ink, Deep Sea, for that! I just love everything about this new collection. What is your favorite so far?
To view all of the other DT cards head over to the Lawn Fawn blog by clicking here and watch another intro video by Kelly Marie, herself! Not only is Party Balloons on the blog today but also the new Candy box die, and the Stitched Label dies that coordinate! You can also get a chance to win a cool prize! I hope you have a great weekend!

Lawn Fawn February Inspiration Week--Gleeful Gardens
Friday, February 13, 2015
I wasn't going to blog about day two; namely, because I didn't want to create a post with a card I already shared last month (during the sneak peeks) and I haven't had time to create something new with all the orders I have to finish BUT after watching Kelly's new intro video for Gleeful Gardens I simply had to sit down and create a mini card inspired by the last three cards she created in the video (click here to view). I thought it was so fun, color, and perfect for Valentine's Day--and I didn't have a card on hand to give to my boyfriend, so it was perfect.
For more details about this release you can head over to the Lawn Fawn blog (Click here)--watch Kelly's intro video for this set and also check out all of the DT designs to get inspired! You can also get a chance to win this set! Hooray!
Have a great weekend!
