Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week--Critters In The Jungle

Monday, April 13, 2015

I love creating cards for inspiration week--and I hope you've enjoyed all of the cards the Lawn Fawn design team has created thus far. Today we are creating with the adorable stamp set, Critters in the Jungle. I absolutely love this set. The adorable images and sweet sentiments are so much fun to create with. I think you may have noticed that my favorite image in this set is the elephant. Lawn Fawn images are always so adorable and irresistible! What's create is that this stamp set (like many other LF sets) comes with so many little images and elements to create a scene on  your card.

Aside from using the, Critters in the Jungle stamp set and it's coordinating dies, I also used the mini set, Love you Tons, for the "Love you Tons" sentiment. For the shaker window and panel I used the stitched rectangle stackables as well as the Stitched Squares Stackables dies. When I was creating this card I was thinking of using a plain white card base (to go behind the shaker panel) but this card was fun and colorful so I thought it would be nice to have a bit of color in the background so I pulled out my trusty Lawn Fawn 6x6 paper pad--the Let's Polka Mon Amie collection and used this green striped paper, mint line dance. For a bit of added charm I also used some of the new lawn trimmings in Tangerine. For the shaker I used the new Lime Sorbet sequins by Pretty Pink Posh as well as the Marshmallow sequins, and Sparkling clear sequins.

I hope you've enjoyed this card and thank you so much for stopping by!

Happy Birthday Lawn Fawn!

Friday, March 6, 2015

Happy Birthday Lawn Fawn! Today the LF Design Team is getting together to celebrate their 5th birthday! Woohoo! I've been such a huge fan of this wonderful company for a very long time, and I'm so happy (and lucky) to be on their design team. The owners of LF are such amazing people, they're all smart, funny, talented, and just all around some of the nicest people I've ever met in my life. It's such a joy to know them all and to be apart of their team. Their product is so unique and brings so much joy to so many people--including me. I could be having the worst day and a new LF package in the mail or working on samples makes me so calm and happy--like crafting with their product melts away my worries.

I used a variety of stamp sets form the newest collection and they can all be found by clicking here. If you'd like to view the birthday cards created by other DT members feel free to click the links below!

I hope you enjoyed this post and feel free to wish Lawn Fawn a big happy birthday! I hope the rest of your weekend is great!

Aren’t you blown away by this collection so far? Just when you think you can’t take anymore cuteness Lawn Fawn comes out with even more stamps today to knock you right off of your crafting feet. You can image how stunned I was when I got my box full of stamps, paper, and dies from this collection. The stamps being revealed today on the LF blog are: Gingham Backdrops, Eggstra Special Easter, My Lucky Charm, Critters in the Jungle, Best Pun Ever, Stuck on You, Scripty Sayings. Each of those stamp sets will also have coordinating dies. They’re also showing the dies for old stamp sets that they’ll be releasing with this collection (for sale mid-February): Cruising Through Life, A Good Apple, Happy Easter, and Year two.

I most definitely cannot wait to create more samples with all of these items—I’m already working on them actually and getting ready for release/inspiration week. But for you can head on over to the Lawn Fawn blog (click here) to view this collection in further detail and also leave a comment for a chance to win some of these new stamps and dies.
