NEW! Pizza My heart, Stitched Heart Stackables, and Heart Stackables--Lawn Fawn

Monday, December 7, 2015

There is a new release on the way and it's so amazingly cute--much like all the other releases! They never disappoint when  it comes to creating sets that we can have fun with all year round. The stamp set being featured today is this awesome set, Pizza My Heart, I just love all the different pizza varieties you can create and I was chatting with Kelly Marie, yesterday, about how my favorite part of this set is the single slice of pizza because it looks so yummy and every time I see I want a slice of pizza, hehe! I also love how the single slice if pizza could be used with so many different critters in the Lawn Fawn arsenal. I was going through all of my stamp sets looking for just the right critter and I laughed out loud when I realized how random and cute the little crab from, Life is Good, worked with the pizza slice.

Not only does this set come with an adorable variety of images but, as per usual, this set also comes packed with punny sentiments--that I just love! On this card I used the sentiment, "you have a PIZZA my heart." So cute! If you take a close look at my card you'll also notice that I used the new stitched heart stackables to create this heart window in the card--and there was also a new product used on this card that will be revealed within the week and it coordinates perfectly with the, Scalloped Rectangle Stackables.

To take a closer look at these new products head over to the Lawn Fawn blog by, clicking here, and you can also take a look at all of the other DT staples for inspiration and also watch Kelly's intro video! Don't forget to leave a comment over there for a chance to win a prize! I hope you have a great day!

Lawn Fawn & Chameleon Pens Week; Day 4

Thursday, October 29, 2015

Hello, and welcome! Today the Lawn Fawn designers have teamed up with Chameleon and we are using their awesome, Chameleon Color Tone Permanent Alcohol Markers--these pens work so great and makes blending so simple! What I like about these pens is I'm only using one pen to achieve this blended look; rather than using more than one marker to get the sample type of look. The set that I received from Chameleon is the 5 Pen Pastel Tones Set, which comes with the colors: fawn, warm sunset, bisque, cool gray, and bubble gum. Such great colors that work well with so many critter images and even some floral images as well.

Today I used this set, click here to view the ink pen set, with the Lawn Fawn stamp set, Monster Mash. I just love how I was able to get this ombre look using these pens. I also used the coordinating dies, the Puffy cloud borders, Scalloped Rectangle Stackables, and the Large Stitched Rectangle Stackables dies.

To view more DT samples using this ink system feel free to head over to the Lawn Fawn Blog by clicking here. I hope you have a great day and happy crafting!

Inspiration Week--Oh Snap and Love you a Latke

Sunday, October 18, 2015

Welcome to another day of inspiration with Lawn Fawn! Today we are sharing the cards and projects we made using the two sets from the newest collection; Oh Snap and Love you a Latke. Both of these sets are smaller sizes and have coordinating dies! I just love when they have smaller sets because that means they are a cheaper price but what I love is that Lawn Fawn always delivers the cuteness even in the smaller sets! Oh snap is definitely one of my favorite minis right now for Christmas because of the cute ginger bread men, and it's punny sentiment! When creating this card I also used the Christmas pattern paper, Let's Bokeh in the snow--the 6x6 pad includes an array of bright Christmasy colored paper that is perfect for sets like Oh snap but can also work with sets like Love you a Latke with the light blue and creamy tones! Lawn Fawn thinks of everything when it comes to provided us crafters with products that we need--especially for the holiday season!

For a better view at both of these sets and to check out all of the other DT samples head over to the Lawn Fawn blog by, clicking here, you could also watch an intro video and leave a comment for your chance to win a wonderful prize!

Thank you so much for stopping by my blog and I look forward to tomorrow!

Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week--Ready, Set, Snow

Friday, September 18, 2015

Hello! Today I've created a fun shaker card for Lawn Fawn inspiration week--and we are sharing our creations using the new stamp set, Ready, Set, Snow--it's coordinating dies and a awesome Shaker Add-on, as well. I really enjoy using this stamp set to create cards because I think that the little snow globe image in this set is genius; and, you can also fit so many other images (from other sets) to create all different types of snow globes for year round cards. What a fun way to use this stamp set, right?!

To create this card I'm using the new Lawn Fawn paper--specifically the, Let's bokeh in the snow petite paper pack, the Ready Set Snow, stamp set, it's coordinating dies, the add-on dies, and a new scripty die, Let is Snow. So many fun products! These products are also already on sale and you can find them all by clicking here!

Thank you so much for stopping by and feel free to, click here, to view all of the other Design Team samples and view more details about this set!

Merry Christmouse, A Simon Says Stamp, Lawn Fawn Exclusive Stamp Set

Monday, September 7, 2015

I hope you're super about the Simon Says Stamp, Stamptember event that is taking place all month long! Not only that but they have also teamed up with a few of your favorite stamp companies and one of the companies they've teamed up with is our very own Lawn Fawn! You'll only be able to purchase this adorable (must have) stamp set from their website! You can, click here, to be directed to their website. This set includes so many adorable little mice images and matching little punny sentiments. Another great thing is that there are also coordinating dies available to make your paper piecing a little bit easier.

I have to say that my favorite image in this set is the Christmas Cheese, hehe! It a little mousy Christmas Tree made of CHEESE! How cute is that? When I first saw this stamp set, when it arrived at the Lawn Fawn headquarters, my jaw dropped because I had on idea it existed until I opened up the boxes full of these stamp sets and the first sentiment that came to me head when I saw the little Christmas Cheese was, "Oooh Christmas cheese, Oooh Christmas cheese." So I need to make a card like that in the future, hehe!

If you take a closer look at the card I made above you'll notice that I used dies to cut out the images from the oldy (but goody) stamp set, Cozy Christmas. Yes! LF has created dies for this stamp set and they are now available for purchase by, clicking here.

I also used new LF paper from the collection, Let's Polka in the Dark Petite Paper Pack--and the exact paper I used is the, Dracula Line Dance, which is also sold in individual packs of 12, you can purchase it by clicking here.

Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week, Thankful Mice, Small Stitched Leaves

Sunday, August 23, 2015

Welcome to another day of Lawn Fawn Inspiration! Today we are sharing our creations using the new mini stamp set, Thankful Mice, it's coordinating dies, and Small Stitched Leaves. This mini set is so adorable and I've said in the past that I just love Lawn Fawn's mini stamp sets because they put such cute images and sentiments all into one little package. This set would pair well with other sets, both in the new collection and with some old sets, to create some really cute scenes on cards. With this card, however, I thought I'd so something a bit simple--with the watercolor background panel and have the little mice standing on their little pieces of cheese. I also used some Lawn Fawn trimmings in the color, tangerine, and used the Small Stitched leaves dies to add a little accent to the card. For the leaves, the scalloped panel, and the card base I used Neenah environmental cardstock.

For a closure look at this set, an intro video, and more DT samples feel free to head over to the Lawn Fawn blog by clicking here. You can also entire a comment on their blog for a chance to win these new products!

Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week, Pillow Box Die

Saturday, August 22, 2015

Welcome to another Lawn Fawn inspiration day! Today we are featuring the new (and adorable) pillow box die. This die would be perfect used all on it's own BUT Kelly also designed some really fun add ons; such as, the new Peek and bat die, and the give a hoot dies. These dies can turn a simple pillow box die into a cute little bat--perfect for Halloween, and you could also turn an ordinary pillow box treat into a little owl. So cute!

For a closer look at what you can do with these dies you can head over to the Lawn Fawn Blog and check out Kelly's intro video, as well as all of the DT samples. You can even enter for a chance to win a prize!

Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week, Booyah

Friday, August 21, 2015

Welcome to another Lawn Fawn Inspiration week! I'm always super excited for LF's new releases and I'm always so happy to share my creations with everyone. When I created this card I couldn't help but do a watercolor background. I used two distress ink colors: Black soot, and Dusty concord. If you take a close look at the cardstock in back of that watecolored panel you'll notice a new shade from the Lawn Fawn paper collection (that will be shown in greater detail during inspiration week). This new stamp set, Booyah, is so cute and has so many different elements to play around with to create the most adorable ghost trick or treaters!

To view more about this stamp set you can head over to the Lawn Fawn blog by, clicking here, and you can also watch the intro video for this stamp set so you can get a few ideas! While you're at their blog you can also look at all of the other DT samples. I hope you enjoyed my card and I hope you have a great weekend. Happy crafting!

Pretty Pink Posh Product Release Blog Hop

Thursday, August 6, 2015

Hello! Welcome to my blog--if you are stopping by from the blog of, Jeanane Jachna. Today is an exciting day because Pretty Pink Posh has come out with another great collection of steal dies. Paulina, has released: Stitched Speech Bubbles Dies, Storybook 1 Dies, and Twine and Bows Dies.
The stitched Speech bubble dies would be great for pairing with Lawn Fawn critters; or ever creating some speech bubble cupcake toppers for a party. You could also use these stitched speech bubbles dies as little windows in your cards and have a sentiment in one window with a little critter peaking out of the other. There are tons of possibilities for this this set.

I just love the Storybook 1 dies, set. I love how the stitching on the largest rectangle would work perfectly for crating a shaker card but it would leave an amazing stitched edge details on your cardstock and still have a window for your shaker. Much like the shaker shown below (the mermaid card), so you can image how awesome that card would look with stitched detailing around the boarder.

The twine and Bows dies has got to be one of my favs from this collection. I think it's so unique and I can definitely image all the things you could create with this set, especially for Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. I really like that there are three different size bows, and I would just love how these would look on any project!
Now for the fun part! Paulina is going to give away two $25 gift certificates to those who leave comments on any of the blogs along this hop. The winners will be picked randomly and comments must be left by 11:59pm PDT on 8/9/2015; and, the winners will be announced on the Pretty Pink Posh blog.

Next on the hop is, Lisa Elton--Thank you so much for stopping by and if you get lost on the hop I have included the full list of blog participants!

Designer Series with Mama Elephant, Friend Indeed

Tuesday, July 28, 2015

Hello! It's Nicole Gavaldon here with another designer series blog post featuring the sweet stamp set, Friend Indeed. I just love all of the Mama Elephant sentiment stamp sets because you can use them in so many different ways; and, with so many different stamp sets, too. What I love the most about this set is the large hand scripted 'friend' stamp. I think it's so pretty and I can image stamping this in so many different colors but on todays project I'm simply stamping it in black ink because of all the different colors going on the background. I thought it would be cute to make the sentiment the focal point of this card and so I thought taking a smaller image from the set, Sunday Stroll, would work out perfectly--and I was right!
Lately, I haven't been able to make a card without reaching for my distress inks to do some wild and free watercoloring, and while making this card I used the distress ink colors, Worn Lipstick, Spun Sugar, and Spiced Marmalade--on some Tim Holtz watercolor cardstock (my fav) and then die cute that out using a stitched rectangle die, and also used my favorite ME dies--the Femme Frames die set. I really can't get enough of that set I think it adds so much to my cards!
To finish the card off I added some Pretty Pink Posh sequins, in the colors, Metallic Gold, Sparkling clear, and Pink Blush. I just love how all of the colors came together and I can't wait to make more cards and projects with this great set, Friend Indeed.

Thank you so much for stopping by!

Stamp Highlight, Mama Elephant, Blessed

Sunday, July 19, 2015

Today the Mama Elephant blog and design team are creating our samples using the stamp set, Blessed. You may have already seen this set because I used it for the Stampede blog hop, but it's fun to revisit this set and create something new with it! This time around I used the "Lucky" scripty sentiment along with the, "I feel so" and "to know you" phrases to create one custom sentiment. I also used the stamp set, Tandem Extras--because the images in that set are too cute and I just love using them.

All of my cards have been created with a watercolor background these days and this card was no exception. I went to my trust Tim Holtz distress inks and chose two simple colors to create this grassy background. It was so much fun to create this with this set and I hope you will love it as much as I do.  To view more DT samples feel free to head over to the ME blog by clicking here.

Stamp Highlight, Mama Elephant, Tandem Extras

Saturday, July 18, 2015

Welcome back to another day of the Mama Elephant Stamp highlights! This set coordinates perfectly with the stamp set, Tandem Ride. With this set, Tandem Extras, you can create such adorable cards and I just love the handwritten calligraphy sentiments and the adorable little banners, flowers, and additional critters. What is so great about this set is that you can also coordinate it with other ME stamp sets, too!

With this card I wanted the critter to look like he was flying around on her little balloon--so cute! I also wanted it to look whimsical so I choose to create the watercolor background in three bright colors and added some Pretty Pink Posh sequins to get it a little extra something. There are so many amazing DT samples over at the Mama Elephant blog, click here, to view them and get lots of inspiration!

Stamp Highlight, Mama Elephant--Tandem Ride

Friday, July 17, 2015

Welcome to another Mama Elephant Designer Series! Today the design team an I are using the new (and adorable) stamp set, Tandem Ride, to create our samples. I just love how this set comes with lots and lots of adorable critter images and elements to create such adorable scenes on your projects. They've also released a set filled with lots of coordinating extras and beautiful calligraphy sentiments--much like the one shown in the image above, click the following link to view that set, Tandem Extras.

I also choose to use the Femme Frames die once again, but I just can't help using it--when I'm making ME cards it's one of the first things that I reach for. I just love it! I also decided to do some more watercoloring for the panel in the background. I only used two distress ink colors and I think the results came out just great. I think this set is just the cutest! If you'd like to take a look at the other DT samples feel free to click, here, and view them!

Video--How to Make A Fun Wedding Card

Thursday, July 9, 2015

Hooray! I have another video for you. In today's video I'm using the new stamp sets, Owens ABC's and Happy Wedding, to create this wedding card. I wanted to this card to be full of fun colors so I used a watercoloring technique, and also pulled out some of the new Lawn Fawn Ink colors, and some Copic markers for this project.

Owens ABC's is an amazing stamp set that can be used in so many different ways--it's one of those 'sky's the limit' kind of stamp sets. Which is perfect for us crafters when we want sets that can be used in multiple ways and for many occasions. As mentioned in the video above I spoke about how it would be so fun to create a card with the critters holding letters from, Owens' ABC's, to create a custom sentiment--even in different colors using the new Lawn Fawn inks. Kelly mentioned in the intro video for this set that you could also use these letters to create projects with monograms--how fun would that be?!

I hope you've enjoyed this card and video don't forget to come back to the Lawn Fawn Youtube channel again on the 30th of this month--I'll be creating another video! Thank you so much for stopping by and feel free to ask any questions in the comments! <3

Celebrating with Creative Chick, Jenn Shurkus's 10th Blogiversary

Tuesday, July 7, 2015

Happy Tuesday everyone! Today I'm super excited to be apart of the, Jenn Shurkus's, 10th blogiversary. Jenn has been someone that I've see in the crafting world ever since I started using clear stamps, and she's still such a vital part of sharing this craft with so many other people and spreading it with so much passion and joy! What we (crafters) were asked to do for this celebration was to use one of her cards as inspiration for the cards we're creating today (CASE)--how fun is that?!

I chose this card (here) and at first glance I knew that this would be the card I'd use as my inspiration. I just love the way that Jenn uses watercolor and I created something similar but slightly different. I used some Tim Holtz watercolor cardstock, some distress ink (my fav), a Lawn Fawn stamp set, Party Animal, and some of their, Sweetheart Lawn Trimmings. The watercolored panel was die cut using the Femme Frames die by Mama Elephant, and I used a few Copic markers.

So, for the fun and prizes, Jenn, is going to have special guests' creating cards on their blogs every Tuesday this month, and there will be chances for you to win lots of prizes from the sponsors shown above! Click here to visit her blog and learn how you can win some rad prizes! The winners will be announced on her blog August 7th and 8th. Good luck and thank you for stopping by!

So Many Thanks

Wednesday, July 1, 2015

Hello everyone! Today I'm super excited to share the card I created using the new stamp set, Charmed. This stamp set is packed with so many whimsical images and coordinating sentiments--this is one of those stamp sets that makes card making so easy because of how great each of the images work together and the sentiment variety means you can use this stamp set to create so many different types of cards and projects.

I always love using the watercolor technique when using Mama Elephant stamps--that technique always go so nicely with any of their images. I used light yellow cardstock for the card base an the scalloped panel, and used a variety of pastel Copic colors. This little sleeping fox is so adorable!

I always love thinking of different ways to use my stamps, and I thought that the wreath in this set would be perfect for creating Thanksgiving, and Christmas cards, too. All you'd have to do is color the wreath in according to the holiday you'd use it for and maybe even add a Santa hat to the fox or owl. How cute would that be?!

I hope you enjoyed this card and thank you so much for stopping by!
