Fun Candy Box DIY

Wednesday, February 25, 2015

Sure, St. Patricks Day isn't until next month but I just can't keep my hands off of the new products for Lawn Fawn's latest release. I didn't get a chance to make a sample in time for release/inspiration week using this awesome new Candy Box Die, so I thought it would be fun to create something today using it. I'm using this die along with the adorable medium size stamp set, My Lucky Charm. Both of those products are already for sale and you can take a look at all of the new collection by clicking here. Not only did I use the new die and new stamp set--I also used one of the new colors from the Lawn Trimmings line, Tangerine; and, some of the new ink pads! Everything in this collection coordinates so well--these new products also coordinate with older LF products, too.

Products used to create these boxes:

Neenah Environmental cardstock
Lawn Fawn, Candy Box Die
Lawn Fawn Stamp set, My Lucky Charm
Lawn Fawn die, My Lucky Charm
Lawn Trimmings in Tangerine
Lawn Trimmings in Lime
Lawn Fawn Ink pad, Sunflower
Lawn Fawn Ink pad, Fake Tan
Lawn Fawn Ink pad, Fleshy cut grass
Scotch Adhesive Tape Glider
Cuttlebug

I hope you enjoyed this crafty project and have a great day!

A Cute Halloween Cake using New Lawn Fawn Products

Thursday, September 5, 2013

Oh my! I can’t believe how much time has gone by since the last time I’ve blogged. Today, though, I wanted to share this mini Halloween themed cake and banner I made using the new; and, adorable, stamps by Lawn Fawn. LF recently came out with a wide variety of new products and everything is so cute, and a must-have. For this DIY I’m using the new Christmas petite paper pack, new Lawn trimmings, and cute Halloween themed stamp set. In the, Peace Joy Love paper pack there are two chalkboard looking sheets of paper that I LOVE, and I’m using a sheet from that collection for this chalkboard themed banner.
If you notice in the images there is a mirror image of the bear in the bumble bee custom on the right. I've always wanted to try mirror stamping ever since Chari Moss create a tutorial on the subject (click here for the video), and I thought now would be a perfect time to give it a try. If you’re a stamper like me you should definitely give it a try—it’s so much fun!
For the pennants I used this EK success craft punch that I purchased from Paper Source; however, I think these are also available on eBay.
Here is a look at the new, Peach Joy Love, petite paper pack, and the cream and silver Lawn Trimmings—so awesome.
This is the new stamp set I used, critters in costume, it’s so adorable, I love this set so much and I can’t wait to make more Halloween things it.
I had so much fun making this cake, and banner. It didn't take much time to make it—which would be perfect to make the day before Halloween, too. I've been so busy with orders and it was nice to take an hour out of my day to craft just for fun. Not that I complaining about the success I've had lately, I’m so grateful for that. But once in a while I still like to craft for fun—in order to keep my crafty mojo going.

DIY, Mini Journals

Wednesday, May 22, 2013

I created some mini journals for the Lawn Fawn blog and I thought I'd also share them here on my blog as well. They're super cute and great for gift giving. You can click here to view the entire tutorial on the  Lawn Fawn blog. If you have any questions you can let me a comment and I'll get back to you asap! However, I'm also going to be making a Youtube video showing how I make these as well. That should be super fun! Sorry this post is late + short. My computer is down and I'm so sad about that, for now my posts' might be super lame because I don't' have my usual Photoshop editing program, and I'll be handling all posts', emails, etc. from my sisters computer or my boyfriends pc--and that means my pc time is limited because they're always giving me the side eye because I'm invading in their personal space, lol. I get it though, I'm the same way. Take care!
