Getting Ready for Fall
Monday, August 25, 2014
Early this morning I had to run over to Michaels to pick up a few things I needed to complete an order, and while I was there I thought I might also pick up a few things to get me into the spirit of Fall (since it's right around the corner). One of the things I love about fall are all of the pumpkin spice and apple cinnamon scents that are released in stores--so I picked up a pumpkin spice diffuser for my craft room. What better way to get in me mood for creating Halloween DIY's and get my ideas rolling for Thanksgiving. I also purchased these really cute skull paper straws and some, black soot, Distress ink. I'm already getting ideas. I have lots of fun projects coming up on my blog and on the Lawn Fawn blog and Youtube channel as well. I can't wait to share them!

A Quick Look at the Lawn Fawn 2014 Fall/Winter Release
Friday, August 15, 2014
The new release is due to be on sale very soon; and, I wanted to share a quick video showing all the new items they'll have available in their shop on the 28th. You'll be able to find all of their products that day on their website lawnfawn.com. I'm super excited about this release--there are so many stamp sets, dies. Plus they've also release two new paper lines (which are perfection!) more twine, and lawn fundamentals (love), and embellishments. This release just couldn't get any better! Ok, enough talk now on to the video below!

Friday Five Item Wishlist--Modcloth
Friday, October 12, 2012
Yes! Fall weather is finally here. The air is cool, the sky's are grey, it's raining, there's a thunder and lighting party going on in the sky above me--and I couldn't be happier. I always welcome rainy weather because it means I can wear all my favorite jackets, boots, beanies, and scarfs. I'm also heading over the scrapbook expo today and I wish I could have all these wonderful Modcloth items with me (and on me) for the show. I'm going to be waiting in line for a while at the convention center and I bet these super cute items would make me feel warm and keep my feet dry. But for now they'll have to remain on my wish list.
As I said I'll be heading over to the Scrapbook expo and I'm taking my camera with me so I can shoot a few videos and take some sweet pictures--Oh! and I'll be shopping too! I'm thinking about making a video showing all the stuff I got. Well take care everyone + Happy Friday!

Fall might finally be here in Los Angeles
Thursday, October 4, 2012
Today the air felt cool—I think fall might finally be here.
All of us Californians have been waiting for a change in the weather and today
we finally got it. Now let’s hope it stays. I was indoors most of the day today
shooting pictures of new Christmas tags and things and I could feel the cool
breeze hitting me while I was standing by the window. The breeze was just
begging me to come outside—so I did and I decided to take a little walk around
my house and snap a few pictures of nature. One of my favorite things about
fall is how the midday sun shines on everything.
