Thrift Store Window Shopping

There’s a thrift store a few miles from my house in, Whittier, CA. named, King Richard’s Antique Center. This historic shop is one of the biggest and oldest antique stores in the Whittier and Los Angeles California area; and, you can find more information on this shop here. If you’re ever in the area and you love vintage you must stop here, this place is so much fun! I always get lost here and roam around for hours and hours. I’ve always loved the thought of just being able to walk into anyone’s home and just look at all their old pictures and nick-nacks, and in this shop I get the feeling of being in someone’s home but no risk of being thrown in jail, haha.

Here are some pictures of some items that caught my eye!

I love this store so much. I can spend my entire day there just examining everything and imagine the houses they were in, the people who used these things, and what it must have looked like to be in that time period. I'm obsessed with vintage/antique items but I don't usually buy anything--to be honest I think I only really spend money on craft supplies, lol! I hope you have a great Monday!

  1. it looks pretty cool there! i never really liked antiques before but my bf LOVES them so i'm opening up much more. it is pretty neat how they made everything SUCH good quality back in the day and now it's all about mass production. =(

    1. I know! Whenever I think about buying a new utensil I always think of buying antique or vintage because the quality is so much better. I think when I move out, I'm going to buy a lot of my kitchen things here!
