Throwback Thursday--Crafty Edition

I'm doing a crafty throw back and using this old school (well it's not really THAT old) Lawn Fawn stamp set, Grand Greetings. I created this A2 size card with a piece of watercolor cardstock and I used some dark blues, pinks, and purples for this abstract background. I also placed a piece of vellum over that watercolor piece and heat embossed the sentiment in white embossing powder. To fill the inside of this shaker card I used some Pretty Pink Posh sequins. Shaker cards are the best!

Fun Candy Box DIY

Sure, St. Patricks Day isn't until next month but I just can't keep my hands off of the new products for Lawn Fawn's latest release. I didn't get a chance to make a sample in time for release/inspiration week using this awesome new Candy Box Die, so I thought it would be fun to create something today using it. I'm using this die along with the adorable medium size stamp set, My Lucky Charm. Both of those products are already for sale and you can take a look at all of the new collection by clicking here. Not only did I use the new die and new stamp set--I also used one of the new colors from the Lawn Trimmings line, Tangerine; and, some of the new ink pads! Everything in this collection coordinates so well--these new products also coordinate with older LF products, too.

Products used to create these boxes:

Neenah Environmental cardstock
Lawn Fawn, Candy Box Die
Lawn Fawn Stamp set, My Lucky Charm
Lawn Fawn die, My Lucky Charm
Lawn Trimmings in Tangerine
Lawn Trimmings in Lime
Lawn Fawn Ink pad, Sunflower
Lawn Fawn Ink pad, Fake Tan
Lawn Fawn Ink pad, Fleshy cut grass
Scotch Adhesive Tape Glider

I hope you enjoyed this crafty project and have a great day!

You're the Coolest

Hi everyone! Today I wanted to share this card that I made yesterday using a two of the new Lawn Fawn Stamp sets, Flirty Frames and Best Pun Ever. Both of which are currently for sale now! I love that the Flirty Frames have such cute and whimsical designs and that they can be used all year round--the same goes for Best Pun Ever. That set comes with some adorable images and cute sentiments to match.

When creating the background for this card I used some Canson watercolor paper, and cut it down to a A2 size. Then I adhered it to my clip board using some low tack tape and used a few distress inks to achieve the abstract background. I also did some watercoloring with the frame and popsicle images and then to add some shine I covered them in some Glossy Accents. To finish off the card I used some of the new, Sweet heart lawn trimmings, and some Pretty Pink Posh, Sparkling Clear sequins.

I hope you enjoyed this card and thank you so much for stopping by!

Lawn Fawn February Inspiration Week--Eggstra Special Easter

Welcome back to another day full of inspiration! I feel like it's been a while since I created party decor with a Lawn Fawn stamp set and for this new set, Eggstra Special Easter, I thought it would be perfect timing to jump back into it. This set is perfect for cards, party decor, and even creating cute scenes for scrapbook pages.

I used to new Grassy Cupcake wrapper die to create both pieces of the wrapper set. I cut one in green cardstock and another in cream. Then I took the tulip image from the new stamp set Eggstra Special Easter and stamped that along the bottom but leaving enough room at the top so that the green grass could peek though. I also used a variety if pink colored copic markers to color the flower in, and finished it off with some Vintage Photo distress ink around the edges for a vintagy look. Next I stamped out some bunny images and die cut those using the coordinating dies and glued them to food picks to make the toppers. After that I thought I'd stick to the vintage theme and I made a banner using cream cardstock BUT I also used a sheet of pattern paper from the new Mon Amie paper collection to help bring everything together. I have to say I really love the way this turned out. I think I might make more of these for our Easter celebration or show how I made everything in a video!

For more information on today's intro to this stamp set, head over to the Lawn Fawn blog (click here) were Kelly Marie is sharing an awesome intro video with detailed look into this set and what you can do with it. Happy Valentine's Day

Just wanted to wish everyone a Happy Valentine's Day! I've been so busy lately with orders but last night I managed to head over to the local drugstore and pick up some candy and stickers so I could make these last minute goodie bags for my loved ones. I used the goodie bag die by Lawn Fawn (click here to view it) and some light pink cardstock. I didn't have any time to do some stamping so while I was at the store I picked up a pack of stickers to place onto the boxes. Everyone I'm giving these to is an animal lover so I thought these animal stickers were perfect!

Have a great day!

Lawn Fawn February Inspiration Week--Party Balloons

I used the new (and awesome) Party Balloon dies along with some other great new stamps sets like, Baked with Love, script sayings, and my lucky charm to create this simple card. Not only did I used new stamps sets but I also used the new, Beach Side 6x6 paper pad. I wanted to create a masculine card so I used some of the dark tones in the paper pad. If you notice, the sentiment is stamped in navy blue--I used the new Lawn Fawn ink, Deep Sea, for that! I just love everything about this new collection. What is your favorite so far?

To view all of the other DT cards head over to the Lawn Fawn blog by clicking here and watch another intro video by Kelly Marie, herself! Not only is Party Balloons on the blog today but also the new Candy box die, and the Stitched Label dies that coordinate! You can also get a chance to win a cool prize! I hope you have a great weekend!

Lawn Fawn February Inspiration Week--Gleeful Gardens

I wasn't going to blog about day two; namely, because I didn't want to create a post with a card I already shared last month (during the sneak peeks) and I haven't had time to create something new with all the orders I have to finish BUT after watching Kelly's new intro video for Gleeful Gardens I simply had to sit down and create a mini card inspired by the last three cards she created in the video (click here to view). I thought it was so fun, color, and perfect for Valentine's Day--and I didn't have a card on hand to give to my boyfriend, so it was perfect.

For more details about this release you can head over to the Lawn Fawn blog (Click here)--watch Kelly's intro video for this set and also check out all of the DT designs to get inspired! You can also get a chance to win this set! Hooray!

Have a great weekend!

Whale You Be Mine? A fun card--With Video

Hi there! Today I have a fun video for you again over on the Lawn Fawn blog, and I'm making a really fun Valentine's Day theme card using the stamp set, whale you be mine, from the latest Lawn Fawn release. This stamp set is a 'mini' but it sure does have a lot of offer. You have two adorable whale images, a sweet sentiment and cute little accents that help set the scene. This stamp set already comes with a punny sentiment to match the adorable whales BUT you could also pair these two images with sentiments from another stamp set; or, even create your own using an alphabet stamp set.

I've been having a lot of fun using my distress inks for watercoloring and in this video I'm using them to create this ombre look on the main card panel. I also did the same thing with the sky and water background image. I know Valentine's Day items always has the same hues so this time around I wanted to make something a little bit different and with more colors other than red, pink, white, etc.

I hope you enjoy this video and feel free to watch it over on the LF blog so you can view all of the products I used to create this card.

Thank you for stopping by!
