Make A Wish

I’m so excited to share this card with you today because it was so much fun to make; and, I’m hoping this will inspire some of you Lawn Fawn stamp owners to make this adorable leprechaun. I think there are so many possibilities with this idea; for instance, you can make tags, treat bags, and even layouts for St. Patrick’s Day. I combined several LF stamp sets for this card—some new and some old, and I’m so in love with how it turned out. I think my favorite part of this card are the gold stars that I created using some gold embossing powder and the new LF stamp set, Starry backdrops. That stamp set has a large starry image that is perfect for so many different scenes and it also has the elements to create an adorable rainbow.
For the coloring, I used distress inks: Broken china, and mowed lawn. I colored in the little leprechaun using my Copic Markers, and for the rainbow I used: Pale Tomato, butter bar, and soft pool, inks by Hero Arts
Stamp sets used to create this card: Gnome sweet gnome, Hello Sunshine, Starry Backdrops, Hats off to you. I also used the large stitched journaling die as the base of my card, you can view that awesome die set by clicking, here
I hope you enjoyed this colorful card! I wanted to post something a little bit more awesome today, but since I have so many orders to finished I had to make this a short and simple blog post. I’m mainly trying to focus on keeping up with all of my posts’ even if they’re simple like this one. Blogging keeps me sane, hehe. I hope you all have a great weekend!

New in my shop!

Floral Wedding Table number
I’ve had plans to list so many new things in my shop for months now, and I’m finally getting around to adding them and I’m so excited. This time around I thought I’d design themes and/or collections of products; and, my first new collection is a Bumble Bee theme. I created cupcake toppers that are perfect for weddings, bridal showers, and baby showers that use this adorable theme. I also created 4 new table numbers—this time having some with more of a clean and chic design. Most of the table numbers in my shop had a vintage theme and then I realized I didn’t have any CAS table numbers in my shop; so, I thought now would be a great time to address that.
White and Gold Table Number

White and Black Table Number
Bride to Bee Cupcake Toppers
Sweet Baby Cupcake Toppers
What will it bee? Cupcake Toppers
B is for Baby/Bride Cupcake Toppers
Bumble Bee Cupcake Toppers
Meant to Bee Cupcake Toppers
All of my cupcake toppers in this theme are sold separately because I know what most buyers would like to mix and match their own toppers; and, the image above shows how cute a collection of toppers from this Bee them will look so cute together.

I absolutely love created new cupcake topper designs; and, it’s such a privilege to craft every day for a living. I have big plans for my shop and I’m so happy about that! I have lots of new products coming to my shop very soon, and I can’t wait to show them all!

New Lawn Fawn!

The day we've all been waiting for is here! Today Lawn Fawn released new collection of stamps, paper, dies, twine, and embellishments—and they have, once again, knocked our socks off. There are so many adorable stamps to play with in this collection that I really didn't know where to start. I’d pick up one set, and get an idea, then pick up another and get a few other ideas. It was really overwhelming—in a good way, because my mind was getting bombarded with idea after idea. So, like last year I decided to create a fun project in celebration of the release by making this ‘Hello Sunshine’ themed card. The Hello Sunshine papers are my favorite! Last year my favorite paper collection was Pink Lemonade—and I also made a project based around that theme.
To create this card I used the stamp sets Hello Sunshine, and Let’s Roll. The die sets Spring Showers, and Scripty Hello; and, the HelloSunshine 6 x 6 paper pad
The Hello Sunshine papers also come in the 12 x 12 size and that collection kit comes with a few journaling cards, and some adorable flair. I just love how this paper collection has a coordinating stamp set. As you can see from my card above creating with both (the stamps and paper) means you’ll get a whimsical card every single time!
The 12 x 12 papers also have a B side—full of lots of solid colors to match the A side papers. LF also came out with three new twine colors that go perfectly with this collection, too. Their twine is seriously the best!
It’s really hard for me to pick a favorite stamp set out of this entire collection, but I’d say this, Let’s Roll, stamp set is one of my top 5; namely, because of the adorable smiley faces that come in this set. Not only can you use them on the sushi, but you can also use them on lots of other inanimate objects as well. I just love this set so much I can’t stand it, lol! It’s so cute.
To view the entire release had over to the Lawn Fawn blog, by clicking here. On their blog you can find information on how to purchase new stamps sets, and you will also find lots of inspiration! I hope you enjoyed looking at my LF haul—and you can be sure I’ll be making something out of each set and blogging about it, too!

Handmade Bookmark

Hi everyone! I've been doing my hardest to keep up with my blog posts’ but my shop has been keeping me so busy—which is a great thing, but it also doesn't leave me with much time to really plan out a great blog post. However, my sister has been asking me to make her a few book marks. My older sister Angie is in nursing school and she has tons of books to read on a daily basis. She’s been feeling a little stressed out lately because nursing school is very challenging; so, I decided to use my Lawn Fawn stamp set, Sunny Skies, to create this happy book mark. This set has a very encouraging sentiment (Reach for the sky) which I thought would be perfect for Angie’s bookmark. That way every time she looked at it she would remember what she’s working for; or, I’m hoping it will make her smile when the stress of it all it getting her down. She asked me for four bookmarks and so far I’ve only made this one—I still need to make the other three but I, myself have been pretty busy, too.
You can find the stamp set and dies used to create this book mark by clicking here and here. When creating this bookmark I used a fun partial die cutting technique so that the kite would look like it was kind of popping off of the top of the bookmark—which I think is so cute. I created this subtle cloudy sky background using a pre-cut cloud die from the Sunny Skies dieset (which coordinates with the Sunny Skies stamp set), and used some distress ink and a foam applicator to apply the ink over the cloud die cut. There is a great video here where Kelly Marie from Lawn Fawn shares this fun technique (jump over to minute: 2:42 to view it). After that I simply began all of my stamping, die cutting, and coloring. Once I was finished with that I used a black pen to create the border around the bookmark and that’s it. My sister loved it so much she wants to get it laminated. So I can’t wait to see what they looks like. I hope you enjoyed this blog post and I can’t wait to make another one!

Sweet Stamp Shop February Release!

It’s that time again! The Sweet Stamp Shop has come out with another amazing collection of high quality photopolymer stamps. These new sets are absolutely perfect on their own; however, they also work great with all of their other stamps set; for instance, their Too Hip stamp set has great images and lots of fun elements to design your card or layout around a specific theme. It also goes perfectly with their stamp set—Foxy.

When I created the card above, I used the sets Too Hip, Foxy, and Just the Basics. You’ll also notice that I used the mirror image stamping technique on this card, to make the two hippos look like they were all lovey-dovey, hehe. Then I used the cute elements from the Too Hip stamp set to make one looks super girly and the other look like a hipster boy. I used the heart image from the, Foxy, set, and the ‘Happy Valentine’s Day’ sentiment from the Sweet Stamp Shop set—Just the basics.

I LOVE the set that I used to create this next card. We all love sequins right now—it’s so in style for papercrafters, but image how fun it would be to play with a sequins stamp?—and in different sizes. Not only does this stamp set, Sparkle and Shine, come with sequins images it also had these really create jewel images, too.  This set is too much fun!
My next card is a perfect example of how, Too Hip, is a versatile stamp set. I stamped some party hats on top of the fox and hippo and we have a perfect little scene for a birthday card. Did I mention that the images in the Too Hip stamp set fit perfectly with the fox from the, Foxy stamp set? Well they do! Cute, right?
Lastly, I have this funny little birthday card. When I first saw the stamp set, Stuck on You, I immediately thought to myself, “Hey, this looks like the cactus is looking back at me”—even without the face stamped on it. So I came up with the cute little message, “Honey, do these thorns make my butt look big?” It may not seem to make sense but when I created this card I thought it would be one of those “I’m getting old” kind of cards. I dunno—all I know is this card was super fun to make. I’m so in love with this set now, and I hope this card gets a few laughs, hehe.
Below are some of the sets that have been released for the month of February; however, you can click here to view the full release on the Sweet Stamp Shop blog. Go and check out all the awesomeness over there and you can also view the other creations by other design team members, too. There is so much inspiration on the SSS blog that you’ll be dying to place an order.

I hope you've enjoyed my cards and the new releases. Their new stamp sets are too cute, and I can't wait to make more projects with them. Take care!

Cheiron Brandon over at the, My Craft Life blog is first on the list and you can hop your way over to my post from there—you can even leave a comment on each blog along the way! That will definitely increase your chances of winning something.
If you’re stopping by my blog from Laura Sterckx’s blog—welcome! I’m next on the list and I’m super happy to share this V-day card I created using a few stamp sets by Lawn Fawn and an awesome die set by Mama Elephant. I used the lovey-dovey elephant duo from the stamp set, Love you tons, by LF—the ‘You+me=” sentiment from the stamp set, Science of Love, and the alphabet stamp set, Milo’s ABCs to create the custom sentiment ‘Tons of Love’. The scalloped hot pink panel, and the white stitched panel that holds the entire design was created using the Femme Frames die set by Mama Elephant and you can find that by clicking here. You’ll notice that there is a light gray, pink, and blue confetti design coming in from the bottom of the panel and I was inspired to do this by the Mama Elephant packaging that their dies were stored in. To create this confetti effect I used a small circle stamp from the Lawn Fawn stamp set, Gnome sweet Gnome and I think it turned out so well.

Valentine's Day Candy Gram with Lawn Fawn, Video

It's been such a long time since I've posted; and, today I have a really fun DIY Valentine's Day Candy Gram tutorial. It was shared over at the Lawn Fawn blog yesterday, and I thought I'd share it today with my readers. I wanted to create something easy to reproduce, for those who like to pass out candy for this lovely holiday. What I love about this project is that it can be used all year round, by simply changing the pattern paper, and the design on the cover panel.

I used some large marshmallow peeps I purchased from Michaels to create this fun 'I hear you' sentiment. Isn't it so sweet?! To view how I made this adorable package view the video below!

For details on all the items I used to create this candy gram, feel free to visit the Lawn Fawn blog for the list.
